Quiara's Theme, Version 0.9 (February-April 2022)

OK, fine, this isn't *really* a theme - I just wanted to not be staring at black text on a white screen for hours at a time.

I forget when I first heard about Neocities, but the moment I laid eyes on it, I was in luuuv. I signed up for the qv.neocities.org subdomain on February 27, 2022. (Trust me, I was as surprised as you are that 1) I could claim a 2-letter username and 2) and that it hadn't already been taken.) Excepting the links on my blog, The self-portrait of me you see up there was, excepting links to my blog, Twitter, etc, the only meaningful content on the site for the longest time.

Speaking of "for the longest time," the first page I made for this site was the Billy Joel Death Tracker, which was in fact one of the things I had wanted to upload to the site from the very beginning. That, as you can imagine, was just a list:

Which lent itself well to this very Web 1.0 format. Pretty quickly, though, I began to grow more ambitious. It was at that point that this site started to take its current form...
